Hailuo 1.0 Director Image to Video adds advanced camera control to image-to-video generation, including pan, zoom, and tracking shots.

first_frame_image string required

Image used as the first frame of the video. Supports public URLs or Base64 Data URLs such as data:image/jpeg;base64,....

Image formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP

Image size: less than 20MB

Image dimensions: short side greater than 300px, aspect ratio between 2:5 and 5:2

prompt string

Text description for the video. Length must be between 0 and 2000 characters.

Camera-control instructions can be added with [instruction] syntax in the prompt for precise camera control.

Horizontal move: [move left], [move right]

Horizontal pan: [pan left], [pan right]

Push and pull: [dolly in], [dolly out]

Vertical move: [rise], [descend]

Vertical pan: [tilt up], [tilt down]

Zoom: [zoom in], [zoom out]

Other: [shake], [follow], [static]

Combined camera moves in the same [] take effect together, for example [pan left,rise]. Use at most 3 combined instructions.

Sequential camera moves appear in prompt order, for example [dolly in] followed by [dolly out].

Natural-language camera descriptions are also supported, but standard instructions produce more accurate responses.

Video duration in seconds.

Options: 6

Default: 6

resolution string

Video resolution.

Options: 720P

Default: 720P

prompt_optimizer bool

Whether to automatically optimize the prompt. Set to false for more precise control.

Default: true

aigc_watermark bool

Whether to add a watermark to the generated video.

Default: false
